Another note on immunizations. Dr. Lebon in Paris has tested many AGS patients who sent him blood and spinal fluid to test for interferon to see if the child had made antibodies to immunizations. He said that some AGS kids do form antibodies but some do not. You might ask your doctor to test your child's blood serum for antibodies to previous immunizations. If your child does not form antibodies, then there is no use in giving immunizations.
Some AGS kids are partially immune deficient in missing IgA or IgM or IgG components of their immune system. Ask your doctor to test for this also.

immunizations
We gave Jack and Ben immunizations up until about 5 years ago. They had no problems when they were young, but we noticed that as they got older they would have neurological lethargy and a fever about 1 to 2 days post immunization. Each year it got worse. So we stopped. Be aware that as they get older, and as they repeat the same immunization, things might change. We are choosing not to immunize Jack and Ben for the H1N1, but we are also very scared about them getting the virus.
I have talked with an infectious disease expert on this, and he said that there are many types of immunizations, and some may cause more negative immune responses than others. He considered dead viruses safer than live viruses. And he also said that some immunizations are polysaccharides and are safer than ones that are proteins. You would have to ask your doctor about which form of immunization to take if there is more than one form available. Some shots only have one form.

Hi,
we made the normal influenza vaccination every
year on Sevin, without any side effects.
But regarding the swine flu we have hear too many
things about the media regarding the side effects. And therefore we are not sure at this moment if we will do this vaccination.
